“Education Is Not the Filling of a Pail, But the Lighting of a Fire.”

A child’s world is a beautiful yet mysterious tapestry made up of a multitude of hopes and aspirations dyed in incandescent colours of thought and deed and their world is very much influenced by the school environment as they spend most of their childhood in school. Thus, schooling has the greatest influence on an individual’s life. It should enable the child to blossom into a well-balanced person, healthy in mind and spirit.

Let education help dear Green's to empower themselves and transform the world into a place where truth, justice, liberty, and equality have the sway. As I glance back at the performance of the children in various activities during the last academic year, be it curricular, co-curricular, I can confidently say that our students have certainly made us, parents and teachers proud of their achievements.

The school endeavours to equip its students to excel in academics, and to be savvy in the use of technology. But equally, knowledge is to become a liberating experience as the child is encouraged to discover his interests, his talents and aptitudes, and learn to form his opinions and role in society.

We, at The Green Garden School, strive hard to create more interesting and meaningful learning experiences, through which our student will be able to develop the most relevant skills, habits, and character attributes.

We see no substitute for the patient efforts of teacher and student sitting at the table and in regular consultation, learning together.

We are a community of learners, where excellence is a shared pursuit. We learn together in a living community where each of us is a valued citizen with important contributions to make.

Green Garden School, Gwalior believes in creating Happy and Empowered students. We have a vision to incorporate life skills based education through collaborative approach to learning. Children are exposed to immense experiential activities where in each child learns by ‘mode of doing’. Upgrading knowledge of teachers and parents is needed to match up with the academic, emotional and social needs of the students. We regularly conduct workshops and brainstorming sessions for parents and teachers, who in turn, shower the experience for children’s overall development. Our success lies in team approach to education- Each stakeholder contributes to the development of students, in some way or the other.

Change is the only permanent thing in life. Education brings meaningful changes and empowers us to lead a productive life. School education plays a pivotal role in a child’s life as whatever is learnt and imbibed will determine to how a student would live out his or her life in future. In fact, true education equips individuals to live creatively, responsively and peacefully in a society and become agents of change for a better society.

 At Green Garden School due care is taken in the process that different school subjects are taught with such perspectives that students not only gain insight into the nature of the subjects but also appreciate and imbibe the attitudes and values associated with a particular subject. The purpose of the school is to prepare children to compete in the global environment by inculcating in its students a winning attitude at competitive stages. Due stress is laid on development of 21st century skills to empower students to face challenges in their lives.
